A while back I managed to break my Photoshop.. in a random, unexplainable kind of way. After many, many, many attempts to repair/reinstall/reincarnate/etc the silly thing, I finally realized it just wasn't happening. (Most of which was done by people smarter than I am, who also were unable to fix it). Thus leading to my switch over to Painter X. At first, I was not too thrilled with this. While it's a great program, I was so used to doing things the Photoshop way and it has been a little frustrating to learn how to do everything the Painter way. So.. that's where I stand right now. The Kristen Stewart pic was my first finished drawing in Painter, and I am learning it entirely by trial and error. I haven't found any useful tutorials so far, so if you know of any please link them, I'd appreciate it. Right now I'm working with the oil pastels, and that seems to be pretty cool for my style, but I'd love to see some tutorials with the other brushes. Like I said, I'm learning by trial and error, and that's the reason I've re-uploaded that pic at least four times with changes. (The last one being a different watermark, because the generic one looked awful on it). Anyway, I'll be uploading more often now that I have a working program again.
As always, thanks so much for your comments, favorites, constructive criticisms and llamas! I'm sorry I'm so behind on commenting for those on my watch list, you guys are amazing and I'll go through and post some stuff soon.
In a totally random note... the Castle season finale was so unexpected! Love that show.
